Pontoons - Antidote

Frankly, I'm up a few minutes ago had never heard of the New York band Pontoons, which, according to the e-mail that I received in the 90's was already active and has now come together again to record their first album. If anything it will sound like the new single "Antidote", then I'd say: fine fine! Beautiful guitar indie pop with a light-Sarah Rec impact.

Listen to 'Never Let Me Go', unreleased Lana Del Rey

Through DIY we learned that has leaked on the net 'Never Let Me Go', an entirely unprecedented Lana Del Rey. The appearance of this song has coincided with a statement confirming that the singer will release new single - 'National Anthem' - on 8 July. The single will feature a selection of remixes by artists as diverse as Tensnake, Todd Terry, Afterlife or DC Breaks.

The style of the song that we present here differs in style from what we heard months ago on the album "Born To Die". The millimeter and monumental production has given way to an earthly aura in which Lizzie seems to feel as comfortable or more in which he has made it one of the figures in this 2012. Critics continue messing with it (I doubt that will change) but recognize that this issue is not so bad. We have seen worse things in this modest page.

Willie Nelson imitates Eddie Vedder on 'Just Breathe'

The greatness of the music allows us to enjoy cherished moments with some regularity. From tributes to deceased artists (did you saw the tribute to Red Hot Chili Peppers on a topic of Beastie Boys?) To format bows sound of young talent to their referents more direct. On rare occasions this happens formula backwards, and at these points when not hesitate to make a stop on the way to remarcarlo as best they deserve. One such case happened recently when Willie Nelson, known as one of the fathers of country folk, has taken the song 'Just Breathe' of our beloved Eddie Vedder appeared in his day "Backspacer" by Pearl Jam.

The father of "Red Headed Stranger" and "The Sound In Your Mind" has made an adjustment that works very close to the original. The main difference lies in the remarkable set of simultaneous voices that gives a degree of sensationalism to the trembling voice of this great hero of the country. Below we leave both the studio version as the rendition of Willie performed in Sirius XM. If you want to do with the song you must remember that 'Just Breathe' Willie Nelson appears on "Heroes," the Texan last album has gone on sale today through Amazon and other digital and physical stores.

The dual Peruvian and Kurt Cobain 'Teen Spirit' by Matthew Mayfield

Today it goes versions. And more especially Nirvana. If you are fans of the Seattle group I highly recommend not cling to your seats. These are not ordinary versions, now you will see why.

- The first took place more than a month in "I Am", a Peruvian television program in which people show up to play covers of legendary artists. Bob Marley, Sting, Bono ... many people went through the set of the show imitating their idols but few, if any, managed to cause the effect driven by the incredible vocal ability of the young Ramiro Saavedra. It sounded just like the good thing about Kurt Cobain. And not just a subject, but three!. That is a matter gives the thing to fear.

The second was made recently by our beloved Matthew Mayfield. The singer is preparing the release of "A Banquet For Ghosts" and therefore decided yesterday to go to the net a version of 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' by Nirvana totally different from the heard so far. Some people like more, some less, but the fact is that Mayfield is what has worked well based on conditions to present something.

A double Peruvian Cobain and an acoustic version totally alternative 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'. Good and fun way to start the weekend.

Listen to 'Skipping', Eddie Vedder theme for a charity album

Starting Tuesday, will go on sale across the U.S. network of Starbucks volume 2012 of "Every Mother Counts", an album that will help raise funds towards the reduction of infant mortality. This initiative has been led by model Christy Turlington Burns and has been supported by artists from the size of Sting, Alanis Morrissette, Bono and The Edge and Eddie Vedder. The latter has contributed to this interesting compilation with an exciting item entitled 'Skipping' that retrieves the best acoustic side of Evanston. You can enjoy both the theme and its letter at the end of that entry.

For some time we needed to enjoy another great theme acoustic singer of Pearl Jam. "Ukulele Songs" left us somewhat gloomy (and more after us excited about the soundtrack for "Into The Wild") but this 'Skipping' has emerged as the perfect vehicle to stop to enjoy this great bridge.Enjoy it! Small news and we are most happy day.

Letra Eddie Vedder – Skipping:
Didn’t have to ask you, just took my hand
Off we went skipping throughout the land
The sky was blue and the blood filled my head
Me and you skipping throughout the land
All of my life from beginning to end
What I remember is holding your hand
And all that I’ll cherish is that time that we’ve spent
Me and you skipping throughout the land
All the loves lost and the one that I found
You lifted my gaze up off of the ground
Forever we’ll talk and forever we’ll drown
In each other skipping around
Gravity pulls so many men down
The atmosphere breathes but not in this town
You took me away and you held me so proud
Skipping, skipping around
And all the king’s horses and all the king’s men
Could not keep me from holding your hand
When all that I wanted was something to protect
And all that I needed was your voice in my head
And all I remember from this life that I lived
Is me and you skipping throughout the land
