The shows at the Residenz Theater 01/14/2012 staged the premiere of a stage play by Pippo Delbono, which bears the name short but pithy "blackmail" and be seen to be in Munich on 27.02.2012. But who is being blackmailed? And by whom and why? The internationally acclaimed Italian director Pippo Delbono extortion has, until recently, until the end of 2011, yet experienced every day in his home country. Figures of power, as the (now) former Prime Minister of Italy, Silvio Berlusconi, to dangerous forms, especially when their power - as in this case - through the practice of multiple items is also multiplied. Who not only Prime Minister but still this is a media mogul also, the direct reporting to the press about themselves in desired orbits and thus the people 'blackmail' in some way.

But Pippo Delbono studied not only under the impression the last chapter of the Berlusconi saga dealing with the figures of power, but was also inspired by the Arab spring 2011. His play "extortion" is concerned in addition to the megalomania of power holders with their strategies and the possibilities of their failure.
